We do recommend that you get to the airport three hours ahead of flying for a long-haul flight.
So I would suggest that you get to the airport for 6.30, check in your bags and find somewhere to have breakfast in the terminal. There are usually several places to choose from and it will help fill the time before you fly. You may find others in your group want to do the same thing.
This would be much better than rushing through breakfast at the hotel then dashing to the airport!
Have a great holiday.

Can you please tell me if we always need to be at the airport 3 hours before the flight leaves on American holidays. Many of the hotels at Heathrow do not start breakfast until 6.30am so is it best not to book breakfast if we have a 9.30am flight and need to be at the airport by 6.30am.
Many thanks
Marie
