The airport is open all night so you should be fine to find a seat. I once had to do this at Gatwick and didn't have any problems. It's unlikely that you will get much sleep, though, and bear in mind that you will need to keep one eye on your luggage. If you can find a cheap hotel deal, that might be a better option, even if you are only there for a few hours.
From looking at the internet, it seems there are a few cafes open too, so you might be able to pass a bit of time drinking some strong coffee to keep you going!
