My understanding is that you can take 2 bags weighing 23kg combined on the Heathrow-Nairobi flight but for the next flight, to Mombasa, the limit is 20kg so you are restricted to that amount. This will all be in your final information, which you will receive a couple of weeks before you fly.

You will need a main bag and a soft-sided holdall, so that you can take the soft bag on safari and leave the rest of your luggage in Mombasa. Bags with wheels and handles are always a good idea.

Hi when I asked your customer srvices about the luggage for Magic of Kenya aparently you can take 2 pieces on the first flight (max 23 kilo)but from Niarobi to Mobasa you can only take 1 peice up to 30 kilo's in weight, so I was going to buy 1 holdall for the whole trip (medium) with wheels and a handle will this be suitable?
