[Hi Mike,

I am sure you would have a brilliant time. I have holidayed with Just You to the national parks USA and it was wonderful.

I too am pondering South Africa Sept time also so I could be away on my birthday (22nd Sept) !

Kind regards Debbie

Hi Debbie,

I have finally booked my first Just You holiday. I am going to do the South Africa Explorer with the Victoria Falls add on departing on the 21st September. My birthday is on the 26th so by my calculations I should be visiting the Cango Caves and an Ostrich farm on my birthday.

I understand there are now 17 booked, 12 women and 5 men so a nice mix.

Get booking and I may see you in the departure lounge!!

Mike

Hi Mike

Most of the South Africa tours last year had about 25-30 people on them.

For most departures this year, the maximum group size is 30.

I hope this helps you make your decision.

Thank you for the information.
Many thanks for the information.

1 further question, what is the maxium number of bookings for this holiday?

I'm 99.9% certain of booking but was interested to know what the average number of people going would be.

Hi Mike

September is one of the best months to visit South Africa. It's the end of the African winter and the start of spring so the landscape is very pretty and temperatures are pleasant (around 10-20 degrees Celsius). Also, because it's the end of winter, animals are on the move searching for food, making it easier to spot them on your safaris.

I looked through your itinerary and counted four game drives altogether - included ones on day 9 and day 13 and optional ones on day 11 and day 12.

So far 16 people have booked this trip - four men and 12 women.

I'm sure you would have a fantastic time on a Just You holiday.

Kind regards,

I have always had an ambition to go to South Africa and particularly go on Safari. I have never travelled on my own but having read the comments on the forums I'm sure I would enjoy going with Just you.

I am looking at at the South Africa Explorer with the Victoria Falls add on, departing on 21st September so I would be away on my birthday. Is this a good time in the year for safari's ie weather, seeing animals? With the optional excursions, how many safari's are actually available?

Could you also confirm how many others have booked this holiday and what is the breakdown of men/women.
