Hi Andy

Your connecting flight is provisionally booked as the 13.25 from Glasgow. We will confirm the exact time a couple of weeks before you travel, so it might be best not to make plans until then, if you can avoid it. This flight would give you about three hours or so to wait at Gatwick, and a lounge would be a good way to fill the time.

As for booking a lounge pass, the best thing to do is call us on the number at the top of this page. Our holiday advisors will be able to book one for you if any are available. If not, it will be easy to book your own lounge pass online. I found this link on the internet, whch gives info on the various lounges available.

Thank you for that Olly and it is much appreciated.

I will be travelling light anyway

I am sorry forgot to ask, Would you know at this point as to what time my connecting flight would be from Glasgow. And also is it too late and is it possible to book into the executice lounge prior to departure from Gatwick

Regards Andy

Hi Andy

You'll be with British Airways for the connecting flight, and their luggage allowance is 1 bag x 23kg.

However, Bulgarian Air have a weight limit of 1 bag x 20kg so you will be restricted to that. Bulgaria Air do allow you to take extra weight at 7 euros per kg per flight, which might be of interest to you if you don't want to pack light.

I've included the links to both airlines' websites below in case you want to read more about the subject.

Hi Olly

I am due to go to Bulgaria in April. I have a connecting flight from Glasgow to Gatwick. And will be travelling via Bulgarian Airways.

Will there be any difference in the weight allowances between the airports and the different airlines?
