You may not know but there is a rail station at the Airport, which has trains arriving from Blackpool, York, etc as well as Manchester city centre, so I would advise choosing a hotel at the Airport to save you travelling too far the next morning. There are 5 hotels at the Airport, everything from a 5 star to a budget hotel, see the website for more info www.manchesterairport.co.uk (I used to work there!)
