Hi Gabby

It's difficult to get travellers' cheques changed in Borneo so instead I'd suggest you take the local currency, which is Malaysian Ringgit.

You can use credit cards in some of the larger stores - MasterCard and Visa are best.

Have a lovely holiday,

Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,

Nearly time for the holiday!!!

What would be the best Travellers' Cheques to bring - UK Sterling or US Dollars?

Thanks.

Gabby

Hi Gabby,

It is totally up to you whether you purchase new walking shoes or use trainers. As long as they are comfortable for you then that is all that matters. The only thing I would suggest is that if they are new trainers/walking shoes, try and wear them in first. You wont want any nasty blisters to jeopardise your holiday.

I hope this has helped, If I can help you with any other advice, please get in touch.

Warm wishes,

Cheryl, your editor

The info for Borneo suggest comfortable walking shoes.

Will a solid pair of trainers do or will I need actual walking shoes?
