Hi Linda

A lot of people like to start with one of our Discovery Weekends, which give you two nights at a UK hotel, a nice excursion, two nights of dinner and dancing and a chance to meet other single travellers who are giving us a try. If you enjoy yourself, you'll be able to book a more adventurous holiday with confidence. They only cost £199, so if you decide it isn't for you, you haven't lost much. Most people have a great time, though - you will see a few comments on the Community.

The nearest options to you are Bournemouth (59 miles) and Daventry (86 miles). Here are the links to those holidays if you would like to find out more:

Are you planning to take a holiday with Just You next year? If so, I'd love to hear where you're thinking of going.

Hi Olly,

I was thinking of trying just a short break for the first time I live in Basildon Essex, which is the nearest place to go for me. Linda

Thanks for the info Olly, that's very helpful! Decisions, decisions.....

Hi BGray

I'm glad you feel so inspired by all the holidays available. It really is a difficult choice, isn't it?

On the stopovers, you generally won't have a tour manager with you but you will be in places that are very easy to get around. I've been to Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok and found them all very friendly. Hong Kong in particular has a great subway that will take you where you want to go, and in both Hong Kong and Singapore, English is spoken widely.

We also do a very good rail tour of eastern Europe, visiting four amazing countries:

And although we don't have a Baltic tour, we have just introduced in tour of Krakow and Southern Poland, which isn't far away.

As far as I know, there are no plans for a Route 66 trip at the moment but I will pass your suggestion on.

Let me know if you need more advice about any of these tours.

Hi Olly,

I'm thinking about going to either Australia or New Zealand next year and am wondering about the stop-overs: are activities organised on them or are we left to our own devices? Also I would love to do the Montenegro/Croatia/Albania/Bosnia trip organised by Page and Moy but don't want to be travelling with couples, any chance JY will add it to your itinerary over the next couple of years? A route 66 tour sounds fantastic; also I would love a Baltic tour - Estonia, Latvia etc. or a rail trip around central/eastern Europe - any chance? As it is there must be 20 hols in the brochure that I would love to do!

Hi Jane

So far 33 people have booked the holiday departing 3 May.

I hope you have a great time.

Hi Xanthe

China is hot in June, so take plenty of t-shirts, shorts, light dresses, sunhats and so on. The temperature is likely to be at least 20 degrees Celsius and possibly up to 30 degrees on some days. So far 18 people have booked this holiday.

Kind regards,
