Hello

Don't worry, you won't be the only one travelling on that departure date.

But you might also be interested to know that there are a couple of places left on the same tour departing a week earlier (13 Oct 2010). This date isn't showing on the website but you can book it by calling us on 0800 567 7393.

Kind regards,

Hi Olly

I am wonderingi f any one has booked for the Wonder of China tour in October.

My birthday is on the 18th and thought about the 20th Oct departure as a birthday celebration.

I see the September date is filling up.

Could you let me know if there is only me interested in October.

Notice the information you give Maureen below.

That is very good. At least she know the number and age range.

Many thanks

Hi Mo

Your breakfasts will be 'international' - i.e. cereal, toast, juice; while lunch and dinner will be Chinese-style. However, it isn't particularly spicy food so I'm sure you will adapt very quickly. The basic ingredients are probably much the same as you have at home - meat, fish, vegetables, rice and so on. For me, eating different foods is all part of the fun of travelling and experiencing a new culture!

As for the age range, 11 people have booked this trip and most are in their late 50s or 60s, with one or two a little younger. I'm sure you will feel at home with them.

The temperature will be fairly warm, sometimes quite hot, with an average range of 14-26 degrees celsius. It should be fairly dry but it's always taking a lightweight waterproof.

I really hope you decide to take the plunge and book. China is a fascinating country and I've no doubt that you'll have a wonderful time on our tour.

Kind regards,

Hi, have found it very hard to get any info via booking office, but I guess they haven't been everywhere.

Much as I love the odd Chinese meal, I am wondering how easy it would be to adapt to eating Chinese twice a day if I go in September. Also, could you let me know what kind of heat to expect on Wonders of China at that time of year? Finally, I am a young sixty-something (latter end of decade). Can you tell me what kind of age mix has booked for September (15th I believe). I have yet to book and feel nervous!! Maureen
