Hello

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - we've had some problems with the website recently.

In my opinion the best solution is to change money before you travel so that you have plenty of the local currency (for Malta it is euros) - maybe about 40-50 euros per day, or whatever you think you'll need. If you need more, you can usually use your bank card at cashpoints overseas. Check with your bank to be sure, though!

Kind regards

Olly, your editor

I'm going to Malta in October and there's been abit of press about what to take to get the best exchange rate so i'm not sure wether i should take cash, travellers cheques or use my visa card.

Does the hotel that we're staying in exchange cheques, because if they do, that may be the best?

Do you have any suggestions?
