Hi Cheryl

Many thanks for getting back to me so quickly! It has put some of my worries to rest that I was experiencing.

I am now counting down the days to my departure and have even started to think about what to take.

Thanks again for all the info you emailed back to me, it has been very reassuring.

Kind Regards

Karen

Hi Karen,

Just realised I forgot to say how many are booked on this holiday. There is a maximum of 30 passengers and at the moment this tour is over half full. Still plenty of time though!

Kind regards,

Hi Karen,I understand that this can be a very daunting prospect for you so I will try my hardest to answer any queries you may have to put your mind at rest.Firstly this holiday is all about you. Customers can join in and take part as much or as little as they want. Whilst a comprehensive range of excursions and activities have been arranged throughout the tour, there is no obligation to take part. Some customers prefer their own company during the day and enjoy company for dinner whereas others want to be part of the group all the time. Whatever you fancy is fine! All our tours are fully escorted. The Tour Manager is with the group throughout the holiday to ensure everything runs smoothly, that no-one is left alone (unless they wish to be) and that everyone has great fun and a memorable time. Unless the client specifically wants to eat alone, we arrange for all meals to be eaten as a group, usually with at least six people per table. If at any time during the holiday dinner is not included, the Tour Manager will make arrangements at a local restaurant for everyone who wishes eat as part of a group.Coaches are seated in booking order. The customer cannot choose which seat on the coach they will be positioned, except if they prefer left or right side, window seats ( if single) or if they would like the back seats - these can be requested by entering the details as a remark on the booking.Optional excursions are as follows:Chamonix and Mont Blanc Full Day Excursion. This stylish town is the historic capital of Alpine skiing and attracts vistors all year round thanks to is brilliant location under the awe-inspiring gaze of Europe's highest mountain, Mont Blanc. Clients will have the opportunity to take a spectacular cable car ride for magnificent views (as extra cost).Price per Person: 47.00 EuroYvoire and Lake Geneva Full Day Excursion. Clients will get to visit the walled town of Yvoire situated on Lake Geneva in France. You can stroll through the narrow streets lined with medieval houses. From here clients well get to enjoy a boat trip across the lake to the swiss city of Geneva where they will have free time to go shopping and perhaps visit the landmark fountain - Le Jet d'Eau.Price per Person: 47.00 EuroPAYMENT OF EXCURSIONSPayment of excursions may be made by any of the following methods:Euros/sterling cash equivalent/ sterling travellers chequesThe following cannot be accepted:Credit cards/personal chequesI think I have covered everything there! If you need anything else, please let me know.Warm wishes,Cheryl, your editor
Hi Cheryl

This will be my first JY holiday. I am due to go on Sept 7th from Poole. Can you give me any info on what to expect. I am 44yrs, newly divorced and am quite nervous at the prospect. Will it be numbered seating on coach? How do I pay for any extra excursions? How large is the tour? I have put e message on your board a few months back but not a single reply as yet. I would love to hear fom other people who have experienced this holiday.

Kind Regards

Karen
