Hi I'm going in January, any/all advice would be welcome.

Carole

Thanks for the info from you all, am presuming it is the same hotels for this trip so now know do not need to pack one.

Anyone else gone in February and can advise on clothing? I get very hot (its an age thing) so am presuming layers will be appropriate?

Again thanks for input, much appreciated.

Hi

I go on Wed so thanks for this i'll take hairdrier out of case!!!

Cheers

Sheila

Have just returned from Wonders of China and all the hotels had hairdryers plus 2 of the hotels had a 3 pin plug socket but you will still need an adapter.

Hi LinS,

I have been looking through the brochure and it does not specify for the China holidays whether they supply a hairdryer in their rooms, whereas in other parts of the brochure regarding other holidays it does say that rooms are supplied with hairdryers. My advice is that you will need to take a travel one. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

If you have any other questions then please do not hesitate to email me.

Kind regards

Just read the info on adaptors, very useful thanks. Can you or anyone also advise as to whether the hotels we are staying in on this trip have hairdryers? Need to know if i need to pack a travel one.
Hi Gail,

The voltage in China is 220V but you will need an adaptor so that any electrical equipment you take with you will fit into their sockets. Hope this helps!

Kind regards

Hi Cheryl, Sorry another question!

Do I need to take a converter for China or are they on the same voltage? If they are, will I need an adapter as I assume they're plugs are different to those in the UK?

Thanks again.

Gail
