Hi Julie

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The Penang Island tour on Day 8 costs 90 Malaysian Ringgitt (about £18). You can pay for this in the local currency.

Kind regards,

Olly, your editor

Hi Julie

You will need to pay for the Langkawi add-on when you book or, if you have already booked, by calling us on 0800 567 7393. The cost is £249.

Have a great trip!

Hello Julie, I have looked into it and both of the hotels have private safes in all their rooms for their guests to use.

Kind regards

Just one more question. How much is the extra trip that we can go on (Penang island tour). also what is the best way to pay for it, sterling or malaysian money.

regards

Julie

Thanks for that info. Could You please let me know if the 2 hotels that we are staying in have safes in them that we can you.

Many Thanks

julie

Hello Julie, I am unsure as to whether Malaysia will or will not accept a pre-paid cash card, it would be wise to contact the card issuer for that information.

Luckily, Malaysia uses the same 3 pronged plugs and sockets as the UK, and the voltages are similar also so you will not require an adaptor for this trip.

With regards to the weather, it will be above 20 degrees centigrade when you visit in May, so thin clothing is advised. However, it is likely that you will experience some rain in May so I would recommend taking a thin waterproof coat, one that will keep you dry but one that isn't too heavy and hot to carry around.

I hope this information has been helpful and if you have any further queries then feel free to email me.

Kind regards

JUST A FEW QUESTIONS IF YOU DONT MIND.

I NORMALLY TAKE A PRE PAID CASH CARD, CAN THESE BE USED FREELY IN MAYLASIA?

WHAT TYPE OF ELECTRCIAL PLUGS ARE USED, SO I CAN GET AN ADAPTOR.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE AT THAT TO=IME OF YEAR. WILL I NEED TO TAKE A WATER PROOF COAT.

MANY THANKS AND KIND REGARDS
